"Coming up on Wednesday November 2nd, the second of the Autumn season of South West Silent's Club Screenings; and having seen David Torrence as the domineering father in September, this will be the turn of his brother Ernest.
A film rarely screened now, but a favourite of and influence on both John Ford and VI Pudovkin, and seen as one of the key founding films of Americana, starring Richard Barthelmess as the down-home hero.
